Job Description

Subee Newlake provides quality in-home support services – including home nursing, disability support, aged care, and respite care. And we offer a wide range of support services to help meet their health needs, their homes and maintain their independence.

We are a local family-owned business with offices in Maitland and Coffs Harbour. We pay above award conditions and we employ on Permanent-Part Time basis, so you will enjoy job security and have access to Annual Leave, Sick Leave, and Superannuation.

We are seeking experienced and motivated Community Support Workers in the Newcastle region assisting with 24/7 service delivery.

Your role will include:

  • In-home Care
  • Personal Care
  • Community Access
  • Respite Care
  • Domestic Assistance
  • Medication Assistance
  • Meal Preparation
  • Transport
  • Shopping Assistance
  • Welfare Checks
  • Documentation of client progress/reports
  • Working with NDIS and Aged Care clients to fulfill their short term/long term goals

 

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disabilities, Aged Care or Community Services or 3 years’ experience
  • Current First Aid/CPR
  • Current Criminal Record Check
  • Current Working with Children Check for paid employment
  • Driver’s license & own car

 

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in the Disability or Aged Care sector
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • The flexibility to work a varied roster
  • Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
